Job summary

Apex Plumbing, Electric, Heating & Air in Columbus/Dublin, OH is hiring an HVAC Apprentice to learn from experienced technicians while assisting with installations, repairs, and maintenance of residential systems.

You will receive on-the-job training, work on a variety of projects, and contribute to delivering 5-Star service. A technical degree or prior exposure is valued, along with reliability, teamwork, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Prior experience/exposure preferred, or a completed technical degree.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential HVAC systems.
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials for each job.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at job sites and in company vehicles.
• Learn how to troubleshoot HVAC issues and assist with providing solutions.
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.

Position Overview

As an HVAC Apprentice, you will assist HVAC technicians with installations, repairs, maintenance, and service of residential heating and cooling systems. You will receive on‑the‑job training, learn the trade from experienced professionals, and help ensure our customers receive 5-Star service every time.
