Job summary

Apex Plumbing, Electric, Heating & Air in Columbus and Dayton, Ohio, is seeking a driven HVAC Apprentice to gain hands-on experience, learn from skilled technicians, and start a rewarding career in the heating and cooling industry.

As an HVAC Apprentice, you will assist with installations, maintenance, and repairs of residential systems, receive on-the-job training, and help deliver 5-Star service to customers.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or exposure preferred, or a completed technical degree.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential HVAC systems.
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials for each job.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at job sites and in company vehicles.
• Learn how to troubleshoot HVAC issues and assist with solutions.
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and uphold Apex's 5-Star Promise.

Position Overview

As an HVAC Apprentice, you will assist HVAC technicians with installations, repairs, maintenance, and service of residential heating and cooling systems. You will receive on-the-job training, learn the trade from experienced professionals, and help ensure our customers receive 5-Star service every time.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential HVAC systems
• Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials for each job
