Job summary

Envirotrol in Charlotte, NC is seeking an HVAC Apprentice to support service and modular product projects. The role involves travel to meet scheduled and unscheduled service requirements, module start-up, warranty claims, and sometimes staying out of state.

You will work with experienced teams to ensure quality, safety, and QA/QC standards, contributing to installations, repairs, and documentation. On-the-job training is provided, with opportunities for growth within a leading HVAC solutions

Qualifications

• On-the-job training and continued education provided.
• Minimum five years of experience in HVAC or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and install all types of EAS-produced products
• Troubleshoot and repair AHU issues
• Travel and resolve warranty claims
• Perform unit start-up
• Submit correct timesheets and expense reports
• Install modular products
• Assist with High Point production when no service work is scheduled
• Follow QA-QC standards
• Weld shipping splits of modular products
• Inspect electrical installations per the national electrical code
• Inspect all aspects of control systems
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and control drawings

Job description

Envirotrol is seeking an HVAC Apprentice for our Charlotte, NC location. In this role, you will travel regularly meeting scheduled and non-scheduled service requirements including modular product installation, module start-up, and also warranty claims. This position requires extended time and overnight stay out of state. The technician is responsible for the quality of his work, ensuring it is acceptable by both EAS and customer standards.

Education / Experience

• This position will be supported by on-the-job training and continued education training Minimum five years of experience in this industry or a related field is required
