Job summary

Envirotrol is seeking an HVAC Apprentice at our Charlotte, NC location. The role involves traveling regularly for service work, modular product installation, and warranty claims, with some out-of-state overnight stays. You will ensure work quality to meet EAS and customer standards.

We provide on-the-job training and ongoing education, with opportunities to grow in a safety-focused environment and contribute to building performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in HVAC or related field.
• On-the-job training and continued education provided.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and control drawings.
• Familiarity with QA-QC standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and install all types of EAS-produced products.
• Troubleshoot and repair AHU issues.
• Travel and resolve warranty claims.
• Perform unit start-up.
• Complete and submit accurate timesheets and expense reports.
• Install modular products.
• Assist with High Point production when no service work is scheduled.
• Understand and follow QA-QC standards.
• Weld shipping splits of modular products.
• Inspect electrical installations per the national electrical code.
• Read and inspect all aspects of control systems.

Job description

Envirotrol is seeking an HVAC Apprentice for our Charlotte, NC location. In this role, you will travel regularly meeting scheduled and non-scheduled service requirements including modular product installation, module start-up, and also warranty claims. This position requires extended time and overnight stay out of state. The technician is responsible for the quality of his work, ensuring it is acceptable by both EAS and customer standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and install all types of EAS-produced products

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• This position will be supported by on-the-job training and continued education training
• Minimum five years of experience in this industry or a related field is required

• Personal computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good documentation and communication skills.
