Four Seasons Heating And Air Conditioning Llc in Bedford Park, IL is seeking an HVAC Install Apprentice to assist the Lead Installer with residential and light commercial installations while developing the skills to perform work safely and efficiently.

You will learn electrical wiring, refrigerant piping, ductwork, and testing under supervision, handle job documentation, and maintain a clean, safe work area in customer homes and light commercial sites.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; prior HVAC installation experience or related training preferred.
• Willingness to learn and follow the direction of the Lead Installer and Install Manager.
• EPA Section 608 Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installer with installing residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.
• Prepare and organize tools, equipment, and materials; assist with lifting and positioning.
• Learn electrical wiring, refrigerant piping, gas piping, venting, sheet metal fabrication, and ductwork under supervision.
• Assist with testing, startup, and verification of installed systems.
• Complete DVIRs and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and protect customer property.

Location: BedfordPay: $17.05/hrPosition Summary: Four Seasons Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electric is the largest residential HVAC contractor in North America and continues to grow our Install Division throughout the Chicagoland area. The HVAC Install Apprentice assists the Lead Installer with residential and light commercial HVAC installations while developing the skills needed to perform installation work safely and efficiently. Under supervision, this position assists with equipment installation, system testing, job documentation, and work-area cleanup. The apprentice follows company standards, manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, and safety procedures while providing professional customer service.Essential Functions:Assist the Lead Installer with installing residential and light commercial furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, thermostats, indoor air quality products, and related HVAC equipment.Follow the Lead Installer's instructions and complete assigned tasks appropriate to training and skill level; ask for guidance when needed.Prepare and organize tools, equipment, and materials; assist with lifting, carrying, and positioning equipment using proper lifting procedures and required assistance.Learn and assist with electrical wiring, refrigerant piping, gas piping, venting, condensate drainage, sheet metal fabrication, and ductwork under the Lead Installer's supervision.Assist with testing, startup, and verification of installed systems; report installation issues to the Lead Installer.Assist with pre-trip inspections of company vehicles and report repair or maintenance needs.
