Job summary

General Services Corporation is looking for a hands-on technician to join our maintenance team in Chapel Hill. You will respond to service requests, repair and install appliances and HVAC items, and ensure all work meets safety and regulatory standards.

You will engage with residents, uphold quality workmanship, and follow environmental and OSHA guidelines while delivering reliable service in our housing communities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• At least 2 years’ in HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry, and electrical skills.
• Have a valid driver's license
• Pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and proficient manner
• Provide excellent customer service to our Residents
• Repairing and/or installing all appliances and HVAC items as necessary to maintain a quality dwelling
• Must comply with all environmental and OSHA regulations and company policies
