Job summary

Piedmont Technical College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach HVAC courses at the Lex D. Walters Campus and/or at one of the college's six county centers in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick. Classes may be daytime, evening, online, or dual credit at local high schools.

Teaching opportunities are temporary and part-time and reviewed as needed. Candidates must hold an associate degree in HVAC technology and have at least five years of verifiable field experience,

Qualifications

• Associates degree in HVAC technology is required.
• Minimum of five years of documented field experience.
• Universal EPA Section 608 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Teach a diverse student body at various locations following syllabi.
• Utilize instructional technology and a range of teaching methods.
• Plan, manage and deliver course instruction and ensure safety regulations compliance.
