Job summary

Remington College in Baton Rouge seeks a part-time Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Adjunct Instructor to educate and mentor students in residential and commercial HVAC systems.

The candidate will teach courses, assess attendance and grades, participate in meetings and graduation activities, and engage in ongoing professional development while reporting to the Campus President.

Qualifications

• EPA certified HVAC certification or degree required.
• At least four years of related HVAC experience.
• Ability to teach and evaluate students.

Responsibilities

• Educates and trains students in HVAC using approved instructional methods.
• Teaches courses, instructs and evaluates students, tracks attendance and grades.
• Participates in faculty/staff meetings and in-service sessions.
• Participates in graduation ceremonies as assigned.
• Engages in continuing professional development activities.
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.

We’re looking for a talented HVAC diploma program instructor to join the team at our Baton Rouge Campus. This individual will report to the Campus President.

• Educates and trains students in his or her field of expertise using accepted and approved instructional methodology.


• Teaches courses as assigned, instructs and evaluates students, develops students’ skills and encourages growth, and tracks their attendance, performance, and grades.


• Participates in various administrative activities (e.g., attends faculty/staff meetings or in-service meetings).


• Participates in graduation ceremonies, as assigned.


• Participates regularly in continuing professional development activities.


• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.

Education/Experience Needed:

• A technical certificate or degree (must be EPA certified).


• At least four (4) years of related practical work experience in residential and commercial HVAC systems.
