Job summary

Toth and Associates, Inc. (TOTH) is seeking a Transmission Engineer III/IV in Hermiston, Oregon to independently design high‑voltage transmission lines and related structures.

You will perform structural, electrical, and line performance analyses, develop detailed models, and prepare construction packages while coordinating with project teams, clients, and contractors. Responsibilities include developing staking sheets, plan/profile drawings, and bills of materials; ensuring compliance with NESC

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• EIT certification required; PE preferred.
• 3–6 years of progressive transmission line design experience.
• Experience using transmission design software (PLS-CADD, etc.).
• Ability to develop complete design packages and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Design high-voltage transmission lines, poles, and structures.
• Prepare design calculations, reports, and material specs.
• Develop staking sheets, plan/profile drawings, and bills of materials.
• Coordinate with survey, environmental, and construction personnel.
• Mentor junior engineers and assist with training.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
