Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Utilities Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience testing transformers or HV equipment in manufacturing or field preferred.
• OSHA/NFPA 70E training or NETA certification a plus.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Set up specialized test equipment and connect transformers to test rigs.
• Conduct routine and type tests to verify transformer readiness and design adequacy.
• Analyze, interpret, and record test results; prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure tests comply with industry standards, company requirements and safety.
• Diagnose faults to identify design/manufacturing defects and collaborate on fixes.
• Coordinate with Production/Engineering and Maintenance teams for issues.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment and keep test documentation up to date.
