Job summary

Allegro MicroSystems, LLC in Manchester, NH seeks a Product and Test Engineer with about 5 years in semiconductors to develop and sustain production test solutions for isolated gate drivers. The role covers ATE and wafer sort test programming, DIB/load board design, HV safety, data logging, and SPC-driven quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2–6 years of semiconductor Product and/or Test Engineering experience.
• Proficiency in writing and debugging ATE test code (C/C++ or tester languages).
• Solid understanding of analog circuit fundamentals (op amps, LDOs, DACs, ADCs, gate driver stages).
• Familiarity with high-voltage test constraints and galvanic isolation parameters.
• Experience with PCB design software (Altium, PCB Cadence) for load board schematic/layout review.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis tools (Galaxy or similar) for yield and data log analysis.

Responsibilities

• Test Solution Development (ATE & Wafer Sort): Develop, debug, and optimize test programs on mixed-signal testers.
• Wafer Probe & Final Test: Create test methodologies for wafer-level sorting and final testing.
• Stressing & Screening: Implement DFT methods such as SHOVE, Gate Stress, and IDDQ screening.
• Hardware & Interface Design: Design, verify, and document DIB, load boards, and handler interface hardware.
• Silicon Characterization & Validation: Analyze data across voltage/temperature corners and perform SPC/DPAT analyses.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support DFT reviews and APQP lifecycle documentation from KO to RTP.
