Job summary

Allegro MicroSystems is seeking an energetic Product and Test Engineer with about 5 years in the semiconductor industry to join the High Voltage Power unit. You will develop, debug, and sustain production test solutions for isolated gate drivers, collaborating with Analog Design, Systems Engineering, and global manufacturing from design to silicon release.

Responsibilities include ATE/Wafer sort test, DIB/load board design, HV safety, and data-driven validation across voltage-temperature

Qualifications

5 years of semiconductor industry experience in product and/or test engineering.
Proficiency in writing and debugging ATE test code (C/C++ or tester languages).
Strong understanding of analog/mixed-signal fundamentals and gate driver concepts.

Responsibilities

Develop, debug, and sustain production test solutions for isolated gate drivers (ATE & wafer sort).
Create test methodologies for wafer-level sorting and final packaged testing.
Implement DFT/testing stress methods (e.g., SHOVE, Gate Stress, IDDQ).
Design and validate DIB/load boards and handler interfaces for high-voltage tests up to 1000V+.
Perform data log analysis, SPC, DPAT, and SBL to set production test limits.
Debug silicon and hardware test failures during pre-production validation.
