Job summary

Camlin is seeking a Field Service Technician based in the North East Region, within Camlin's Global Services Department. You will represent Camlin on customer sites, perform installation and commissioning of HV products, and deliver professional service.

Travel up to 70% to regional sites across North America; requires a valid passport and driver's license. A technical degree or 5 years of field experience, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills, are essential.

• Willingness to travel up to 70% and work weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Represent Camlin by ensuring the customer comes first and field projects stay on track.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
• Undertake and update training including external H&S training.
• Install, commission and service standard HV products regionally within North America.
• Work within live substations and network facilities in the designated region.
• Perform general service and maintenance duties on HV products.
• Report to Field Service Manager on works, orders and appointments.
• Provide reports on works carried out to the Operational Officer.
• Maintain communication with Field and Operational functions for planning and scheduling.
• Coordinate with wider team and report customer satisfaction post-works.
• Support non-conformance feedback with customer support for verification and analysis.
• Undertake other duties as required.
