Job summary

Vertiv (ERS / HVM) is seeking a Field Engineer - Electrical Testing to perform high‑voltage acceptance, commissioning and maintenance testing up to 500 kV. The role requires NETA Level III/IV certification and 7+ years of hands‑on HV testing experience, with travel up to 75% to regional and national project sites.

Qualifications

• NETA Level III or IV certification is required.
• 7+ years of hands-on electrical testing in medium/high voltage environments.
• Expert knowledge of NETA MTS and ATS standards.
• Proficiency with test equipment including Doble, Megger, Omicron, Dranetz, SKF.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on electrical power systems up to 500 kV.
• Conduct power system studies including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and power quality analysis.
• Test and calibrate protective relays (electromechanical, solid-state, and microprocessor-based).
• Interpret results and author engineering reports with findings and recommendations.
