Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, HV Test to lead the development, deployment, and scaling of high‑voltage test systems for our battery production lines.

You will own end‑to‑end testing strategy to ensure every pack leaving the line is safe, reliable, and meets our stringent standards. You will bridge product design and manufacturing, championing DFT and building scalable test architectures, including EOL testers, HiPot stations, and charge/discharge cyclers

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years dedicated to High Voltage (HV) battery testing (400V–800V+).
• Hands‑on experience with industrial test hardware in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, specify, and commission HV test equipment for battery module and pack manufacturing, including End‑of‑Line testers and high-voltage stations.
• Develop robust test scripts and automation architecture to integrate HV test equipment with MES.
• Collaborate with Battery Hardware and Firmware teams to ensure manufacturability and scalable testing of new architectures.
• Establish HV safety protocols (NFPA 70E) and design interlocks, LOTO procedures, and PPE standards.
• Lead root-cause analyses for complex test failures and drive teardowns on non-conforming packs.
• Drive process scaling to reduce test cycle times and improve OEE for high-volume production.
• Evaluate and manage relationships with external test equipment integrators and vendors.
