Join us as a Hunter Education Program Coordinator at the Arizona Game and Fish Department

The Arizona Game and Fish Department is seeking a dedicated Hunter Education Program Coordinator to support and maintain its statewide hunter and trapper education programs. This role involves designing, implementing, and evaluating educational initiatives, recruiting and training volunteers, and ensuring compliance with federal and state standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and assessing educational programs and materials for hunter, bow-hunter, and trapper education.
  • Recruiting, training, and supervising volunteer instructors.
  • Managing background checks for volunteers and maintaining program databases.
  • Providing statistical reports and collaborating with external agencies and organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of program planning, management, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Skills in communication, customer service, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in outdoor recreation management is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must obtain a Level 1 fingerprint clearance card.
  • Valid driver’s license and compliance with driving record requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills.
