The Rider Firm in Boulder, CO is seeking a HUNT Brand Marketing Manager (US) to lead brand storytelling, media relations, email marketing, events, and content creation. This hands‑on role reports to the Marketing Director and drives campaigns that engage riders globally while strengthening the US market.

You’ll build journalist relationships, manage product launches, and coordinate with ecommerce, product, and partnerships.

Role: HUNT Brand Marketing Manager (US)
Category focus: Road, Gravel, CX Main location: Boulder, CO Hours: Full-time with some travel and weekend work required to attend events and races

About the role

As Brand Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping how riders around the world discover and experience our products. This is a unique opportunity to blend creativity, storytelling, and rider ‑ obsession to fuel the growth of HUNT globally. The role has a broad marketing remit, covering public and media relations, email marketing, print and digital advertising, sports and event marketing, content creation, and input into social media marketing. It is a hands‑on position with clear ownership of brand execution and campaign delivery.

Reporting into the Marketing Director, with strategic reporting to the US Regional Head, you will primarily be responsible for HUNT’s brand marketing in the US, while also supporting brand marketing across our global regions and new markets. You’ll work closely with the Marketing, Ecommerce and Product teams, and external media partners, to ensure that all marketing initiatives align with the company’s overall objectives and ethos.

We are a direct-to-consumer business, specializing in high-performance aftermarket bicycle wheels under the brand HUNT Wheels, operating out of headquarters in West Sussex, England, with operations in Boulder, CO, USA, and Dresden, Germany. Our goal is to create solutions for all riders, taking an engineering-first approach to develop innovative performance wheel products for riders around the world.

Key responsibilities
  • Contribute to the growth and reach of HUNT Wheels, with a focus on driving brand awareness and authority among US riders, while supporting marketing and brand growth goals throughout the UK, Europe, and the rest of the world.
  • Build and manage relationships with journalists and endemic media publications, keeping them informed of brand and product updates, product launches, and opportunities for reviews, features, and in-depth technical and company storytelling.
  • Execute and co‑lead best‑in‑class product launches and brand campaigns; create press materials, organize asset and content capture, manage go‑to‑market calendars, and coordinate content distribution with the goal of driving brand performance metrics (sessions, organic search volume, awareness/consideration/desirability targets)
  • Leverage relationships with athletes, industry partners, and cross‑functional teams to grow owned audiences (email, social and community).
  • Plan, maintain, and execute a marketing campaign calendar that connects with riders through PR, video content, event activations, social media, email, and paid advertising.
  • Plan and execute paid media campaigns; brief and collaborate with graphic designers to create impactful advertising assets, manage paid media budget, optimize creative and placements for maximum impact.
  • Deliver event activations at tradeshows, pop‑ups, races, and community riding events.
  • Support and promote OE manufacturer and key stockist relationships, developing mutually beneficial collaborations.
  • Work with the ecommerce team to optimize website functionality, navigation, content, copy, and UX.
  • Listen to and deeply understand rider needs; identify market trends and emerging technologies to feed insight and innovation into product development.
  • Coordinate with the US Regional Head and wider team to support US regional success, aligned to revenue, audience reach, and audience growth goals.
  • Manage monthly budget activity with accuracy, transparency, and detailed reporting.
What we’re looking for:
  • A passion for road and gravel cycling culture, with an understanding of cyclocross, track, and triathlon disciplines.
  • Experience leveraging brand marketing channels to drive measurable growth across key metrics (sessions, conversion, AOV, owned audience).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred, but not required.
  • 3+ years’ experience in brand marketing, including public relations, email marketing, event marketing, print and digital advertising, sports marketing, content creation, and social media.
  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with data and formulas.
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in copywriting and editing.
  • Comfortable with and enthusiastic about creating content and publishing across relevant social media (in collaboration with Social Media Manager).
  • Familiarity with CRM, ecommerce, and project management platforms.
  • Comfortable speaking to groups, on camera, and directly with journalists in presentation, pitch, and interview formats.
  • Salary: $55,000-$75,000 per year, depending on experience
