Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a HUMINT Analyst to support USSOCOM staff in conducting HUMINT and intelligence missions. Candidates must have a current Top Secret clearance and possess extensive experience in intelligence operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for HUMINT planning, data collection, and reporting, leveraging strong analytical skills and expertise with various intelligence tools. This position requires readiness for deployment and maintaining rigorous operational standards.

Qualifications

  • Current Top Secret clearance and SCI eligible.
  • 10+ years experience in Intelligence Task Force or equivalent.
  • 5+ years performing Collection Management and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Perform HUMINT planning/execution including data collection and analysis.
  • Support USSOCOM staff with intelligence requirements.
  • Conduct reporting and adapt planning based on insights.

Job description

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.

Cherokee Preting is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a HUMINT Analyst to support USSOCOM Staff in the conducting of HUMINT and intelligence missions.

Intelligence SMEs shall possess SME-level skill‑sets in the specific intelligence disciplines with demonstrated experience and results to include knowledge of training requirements, mission requirements, with the ability to communicate accurately and effectively with USSOCOM senior leadership and customers. Subject matter expertise is necessary to assist the USSOCOM staff and subordinate or associated organizations to identify and assist in the development of prudent courses of action (COAs), recommend priorities, train members of the team, and employ technical knowledge for the long‑term benefit to USSOCOM operations.

Employees must maintain global readiness and be available to deploy on a no‑notice basis to hazardous duty/combat zones. Deployments may be to a theater of operations with permissive, uncertain, or hostile environments while living in austere conditions for extended periods.

Responsibilities
  • Perform HUMINT planning/execution to include data collection, analyses, coordination, and reporting as well as adaptive planning to identify knowledge and capability (or training) shortfalls.
  • Leverage previous experience in an Intelligence Task Force, National Intelligence Support Team, National Military Joint Intelligence Center Combatant Command, or a non‑DoD equivalent IA operational community.
  • Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Current Top Secret clearance and SCI eligible.
  • Associates of Arts degree from an accredited university or college with primary studies in Middle Eastern and/or North African regional culture/sociology, or multiple combat support deployments to CENTCOM or AFRICOM with attending pre‑deployment familiarization training.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in an Intelligence Task Force, National Intelligence Support Team, National Military Joint Intelligence Center Combatant Command, or a non‑DoD equivalent IA operational community.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience performing Collection Management, all‑source analysis, desk officer/reports.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a managerial level position in support of HUMINT programs and analysis, and at least one (1) combat overseas tour with a SMU and or SOF operating in a HUMINT analysis support function.
  • Acute knowledge of SOF and or CT intelligence experience is highly desirable.
  • Successful completion of the Strategic Debriefing Course.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to write/speak clearly so as to accurately brief HUMINT‑related matters at all levels of the supported command.
  • Expert‑level skill‑sets in HUMINT Online Tasking and Reporting (HOTR) and Global Controlled Operations Management System (GCOMS).
  • Expert‑level skills and proficiency using analytic tools and databases including, but not limited to, Multimedia Message Manager (M3), GoogleEarth, ArcGIS Geographic Information System (ARC), lnforsphere Management System (ISM/Wise), Harmony, Skope, Counter IED Operations Integration Center (COIC), Proton, Think Analyze Connect Analytic Database (TAC), Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment (TIDE), FiretruckNoltron, IC Reach, Palantir, CP Clear, and Consolidated Consular Database (CCD).
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of HUMINT theory, doctrine, rules, regulations, directives, systems, concepts, methodologies and relevant skills related to HUMINT analysis and operations.
  • Expert knowledge of applying tradecraft, tools, and methods to collect, analysis, and integrate complex information related to HUMINT analysis.
  • Must possess a valid US passport.
  • Must be able to pass all pre‑deployment requirements including a medical, dental, psychological, background, credit, and security screens as deemed necessary to be considered deployable.
  • Must be able to obtain all required immunizations deemed necessary by the contract.
  • Must pass pre‑employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
