Job summary

Hyphen Connect Limited is looking for a Humanoid Robotic Engineer in Seattle. This position involves designing and implementing sophisticated control algorithms focused on bipedal locomotion and manipulation using Reinforcement Learning techniques.

The ideal candidate will develop advanced control strategies and work on training RL policies in simulation, while also deploying them to physical robots. Candidates must have strong expertise in control algorithms and robotic simulation tools.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Model Predictive Control (MPC) and Whole-Body Control.
• Extensive experience with robotic simulation environments like NVIDIA Isaac Sim or MuJoCo.
• Familiarity with modern Reinforcement Learning frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced control algorithms for bipedal locomotion and manipulation.
• Train Reinforcement Learning (RL) policies in simulation and deploy them on physical hardware.
• Conduct sim-to-real transfer and analyze gait/kinematics telemetry.
