Job summary

Fusion Academy in Florida is seeking an English and History Teacher for our 1-to-1 private school serving grades 5–12. You’ll shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues in a student-centered environment.

You’ll teach a range of courses from English Composition to World and U.S. History, with curriculum and resources provided. A Bachelor’s degree is required; teaching credentials are a plus, and experience with diverse learners is valued.

As a n English and History Teacher, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of courses (English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, Economics, Humanities, and Electives), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
