Bell & Evans is seeking dependable individuals to join our Live Operations team as Chicken Catchers. You will safely and humanely catch chickens to ensure a steady supply for production while upholding our animal welfare, food safety, and product quality standards.

In this role you will work 8–10 hour shifts, with about 8 hours dedicated to catching operations, and you will report any safety or quality concerns promptly. Join a team focused on integrity, teamwork, and excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Up to three months of related work experience or training preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Catch chickens safely and efficiently to support daily production requirements.
• Report any safety or quality concerns immediately.
• Follow all policies related to animal welfare.
• Handle birds in accordance with humane handling standards.
• Adhere to biosecurity protocols to protect flock health.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work 8–10 hour shifts, with ~8 hours dedicated to catching operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
