Job description

Join our Snohomish County Human Services Team

We have one full-time supervisory position in our Aging and Disability Services Division. We are seeking an individual with strong leadership skills and an innovative mindset to help launch the new WA Cares program that will go live July 1, 2026.

In addition, this position will oversee a new program called Health Related Social Needs (HRSN), which will provide expanded benefits to Apple Health enrollees. This program is contracted to our Area Agency on Aging (AAA) through ALTSA and the WA State Health Care Authority. HRSN is expected to begin this Summer 2025.

The Supervisor must have a passion for developing new programs and be capable of supervising staff to ensure a smooth launch of both programs, meeting the needs of Snohomish County residents efficiently. Since these are new initiatives, a high level of innovation and comfort with change is required.

Job Offers are contingent upon successful reference and background checks. Snohomish County will not sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this opportunity. All hires must verify identity and eligibility to work in the U.S. in compliance with federal law.
