Job summary

The Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services in Springfield is seeking a Human Services Coordinator Supervisor (HSC II) to lead and supervise a team of HSC I staff and support partners in the Springfield/Westfield Area Office. You will help plan and allocate resources, supervise case management activities, and ensure high-quality services for individuals and families.

This role requires strong supervision, training and collaboration with providers, guardians and agency staff.

Qualifications

• At least four years of full-time case management or clinical/therapeutic experience.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• Travel may be required; a valid driver's license at a class level specific to assignment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records and work within HCSIS, PAM and The Hub.
• Monitor, review and supervise ISP development and approval (including ensuring ISP content reflects all services and expenditures).
• Assign individuals to Service Coordinators.
• Participate in screening, interviewing and selection of candidates for HSC positions.
• Train new Service Coordinators in job duties.
• Conduct EPRS for HSC staff.
• Participate in area planning and protocol development.
• Work with MASSCAP team for prioritization of services and MASSCAP assessments.
