Position Summary	The University of New Mexico’s College of Nursing is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Technician to join our team of professionals. The College of Nursing employs over 150 employees, including faculty and staff, and varying numbers of part-time faculty, on-call staff, working retirees, as well as undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral student employees. The successful candidate will demonstrate support for diversity, equity and inclusion as well as participate in maintaining a respectful, positive work environment. The Human Resources Technician will assist in the management of Human Resource transactions. Minimum Qualifications	High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications	Strong verbal and written communication skills as evidenced in your cover letter Previous management experience is a plus Experience working in a dynamic fast paced environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational skills
