Job summary

The Building People, LLC is seeking an HR Administrative Assistant to perform HR-related tasks for the Department of Energy's Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy office. The role includes recruiting support, data collection, policy review, and compliance with DOE rules.

Required: a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience or a high school diploma with 12+ years, and strong MS Office skills. Telework may be affected by client requirements; background checks are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus eight years of experience, or high school diploma plus twelve years of experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 2010 or better.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support HR functions including recruitment, classification review, compensation studies, employment analysis and leave/benefits administration.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform HR decisions.
  • Track trends and developments in assigned HR areas.
  • Conduct studies, perform research, and prepare reports.
  • Review, interpret, and recommend policies.
  • Participate in working groups, councils, and committees.
  • Ensure compliance with DOE HR-related rules and regulations.

The Building People, LLC, is seeking a candidate to perform human resources administrative work for the U.S. Department of Energy's Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy (EERE) office. The Human Resources Assistant will perform human resources-related administrative work both under general supervision and independently. Required Experience & Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 2010 or better
