United States Fleet Forces Command, based at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, is seeking a Human Resources Specialist (Employee/Labor Relations) to advise management on all labor and employee relations matters and to support workforce relations programs.

The position supports telework eligibility and requires appropriate education credentials or graduate study as outlined in the vacancy posting; a Secret security clearance is required. The posted pay range is $69,905–$90,882 per year.

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (EMPLOYEE & LABOR RELATIONS) in the US FLEET FORCES COMMAND HR SERVICES BRANCH (1102.6), LABOR AND EMPLOYEE RELATIONS DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Key Responsibilities

You will provide assistance to management on all matters relating to labor and employee relations.

Requirements & Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-09 master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related GS-07 1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
