Job summary

Lupin in New Jersey is seeking an HR Specialist to support strategic and operational HR initiatives within a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.

You will partner with HR leadership on employee relations, talent processes, compliance, HR systems, and organizational initiatives, delivering compliant, people-focused HR services across the employee lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master in HR or related field; SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
  • 3–5 years of relevant HR experience in pharma/Life sciences or regulated sectors.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP or SuccessFactors; advanced Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, teamwork, communication and analytical abilities.
  • Experience handling sensitive, confidential information.
  • Strong empathy, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
  • Office-based work environment in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a motivated HR professional in our New Jersey Team, who is eager to learn, take ownership, and contribute to strategic and operational HR initiatives. Job Description
  • Support the planning, coordination of talent management processes, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, career development, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Coordinate learning and development programs, manage training logistics and communications, support learning technologies, and help evaluate the effectiveness of development initiatives while fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Partner and support employee experience initiatives across the employee lifecycle, including orientation, engagement, recognition, wellness, culture-building, and change management programs.
  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards, talent metrics, and workforce analytics that provide insights into employee engagement, learning effectiveness, and organizational capability, enabling data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Coordinate employee communications, recognition programs, and HR campaigns that promote a positive and engaging workplace culture.
  • Support the execution of enterprise HR initiatives, special projects, and organizational change efforts while ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder collaboration, and effective communication.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, leverage technology, and introduce innovative solutions that improve efficiency and enhance the employee experience.
  • Stay informed of emerging HR trends, learning technologies, AI‑enabled solutions, and best practices to continuously evolve people programs and support organizational success.
  • Manage employee realtions and Leave Administration, as well as HR Compliance related to HR Operations, state and federal requirements.
Qualification and Experience
  • Bachelor / Masters degree in Human Resources or a related field. SHRM‑CP or PHR certification.
  • 3‑5 years’ experience relevant to above responsibilities. Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated industry.
  • Working knowledge of ADP, Success Factors or similar HRIS platforms, Advanced MS Excel, MS Co‑pilot required.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, team working, communication, collaboration and analytical skills.
  • Experience in handling sensitive, confidential information.
  • Strong empathy and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Work is performed in an office environment.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position in New Jersey is $70,000 to $90,000, plus a discretionary performance bonus (based upon eligibility). The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, the type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Lupin is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
