Rail service is available through Norfolk Southern Railroad.

Role Description

The Human Resources Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hermitage, PA. This position manages day-to-day HR activities, including onboarding, employee record maintenance, and support for personnel changes across the organization. The role involves administering and explaining employee benefits, assisting with HR policy implementation, and helping ensure compliance with FMCSA & employment laws and company standards. The Human Resources Specialist will support managers and team members with HR-related inquiries, coordinate performance review processes, and recruitment activities such as screening candidates and scheduling interviews. The role also includes maintaining HR systems, preparing reports, and contributing to initiatives that promote a positive, safe, and inclusive workplace.
