Job summary

Aliviane Inc. in El Paso, TX is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support daily HR operations, maintain personnel records, and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.

The role focuses on recruitment onboarding, benefits administration, and workforce documentation, coordinating with payroll and external agencies to keep records accurate and audit-ready.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in HR or related field.
  • At least 3 years of HR and benefits administration experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain employee personnel files in compliance with applicable federal, state, accreditation, and organizational requirements.
  • Process Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) for employee status changes in the Payroll System.
  • Complete and maintain Forms I-9 and verify employment eligibility documentation.
  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities, including job postings, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, new hire documentation, and orientation support.
  • Coordinate required pre-employment screening processes, including background checks and drug testing.
  • Responsible for tracking and supervision of databases of professional licenses, certifications, and workforce training records through the Learning Management System.
  • Support workforce documentation compliance related to HHSC contract requirements, CARF accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
  • Lead the benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and terminations, coordinating documentation with payroll systems and insurance providers.
  • Lead in preparing workforce documentation and reports for audits, accreditation reviews, regulatory inspections, and required filings such as EEO-1 reporting, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims.
  • Responds to routine employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and HR procedures.
  • Maintains knowledge of regulatory changes and best practices in human resources and employment law.

Job Summary

The Human Resources Specialist provides operational and compliance support for the HR department's daily functions.   • Processes Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) for employee status changes (hiring, promotion, transfer, termination) in the Payroll System, ensuring proper approvals and documentation.

  • Completes and maintains Forms I-9 and verifies employment eligibility documentation in accordance with federal requirements.

  • Coordinates recruitment and onboarding activities, including job postings, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, new hire documentation, and orientation support.

equired/Preferred Education and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in human resources or related field of study required.

  • Three years of work experience in Human Resources and benefits administration.

  • Or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
