111 Cambria Company LLC is seeking an HR Specialist to support employee programs and maintain records. You will handle Workday updates, benefits questions, and reporting while collaborating with managers across the organization.

The role requires 0–3 years in HR, an associate degree, strong communication, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Local, on-site work in Minnesota with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel; Workday experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain personnel files per legal requirements.
  • Process employee status changes in Workday in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain listing of approved hires and track terminations with proper communication.
  • Develop and distribute HR reports.
  • Communicate HR processes to employees and managers.
  • Answer questions about Cambria benefits.
  • Assist with unemployment claims and filing forms.
  • Participate in meetings and improve processes.
  • Handle ad hoc projects and escalate to HR Director as needed.
  • Maintain a positive, solution-focused demeanor when addressing conflicts.

Job description

Job Description: The Human Resources Specialist will handle and provide support for various HR employee programs within the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Keeps employee records up to date by processing employee status changes in Workday in a timely fashion.
  • Maintains listing of approved hires and track terminations with proper communication with both.
  • Develops and distributes various reports.
  • Effectively communicate with internal employees and managers regarding Human Resources processes.
  • Have a strong understanding of Cambria's benefits and be able to answer questions.
  • Effectively file forms in personnel files, distribute mail, assist with unemployment claims.
  • Participate in meetings and assist in improving processes.
  • Ad hoc projects assigned depending on business needs.
  • Escalate issues to the Human Resources Director when necessary.
  • Ability to maintain a positive, solution-focused demeanor when responding to conflicts or problem.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail in composting, typing, proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality and sense of urgency.
  • Excellent customer relations skills, with the ability to relate effectively and sensitively.
  • Strong problem solving skills and a desire to partner with key stakeholders to improve processes.
  • Positive and self-motivated individual who can work independently.
  • Have a basic knowledge of employment laws.
Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience: 0-3 years experience in Human Resources

Systems: Strong computer proficiency, knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel), Google Suite, and Workday experience preferred

Travel Requirements:

Minimal travel between local Cambria locations.

Physical Requirements:
  • Office position requiring telephone and computer use.
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally / sparingly (office supplies, packages, samples).
  • May need to bend, reach, walk, or stoop occasionally.
  • Prolonged periods sitting and/or standing at a desk and working on a computer.

Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $25.00-$33.00/hour. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
