Clear Creek Tahoe is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Specialist to keep our operations running smoothly on the Nevada side near Lake Tahoe. You will play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, and employee support using our Paycom platform.

This role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks from benefits to payroll inquiries. A four-year degree is preferred and prior HR experience is valued to help sustain our vibrant team and member

Qualifications

• Requires strong English communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with HR platforms and onboarding processes.
• Ability to handle multiple audiences with tact and diplomacy.
• Knowledge of employment laws at federal/state/local levels.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment: manage talent acquisition through Paycom and coordinate steps to hire.
• Oversee full onboarding process and orientation for seasonal staff.
• Respond to employee inquiries by phone, email or in person.
• Maintain personnel files and assist with record-keeping and audits.
• Track compliance with employment laws and keep documentation up to date.
• Assist with benefits enrollment and payroll-related inquiries.

If you are detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about the employee experience, we want to talk to you!KEY RESPONSIBILITIESRecruitmentRecruits and manages the talent acquisition process within our HR platform, Paycom.Moves applicants through the process from requisition to hire.Screens applicants via teams and/or phone.Communicates with managers on hiring steps and dispositions out non-selected candidates.OnboardingLeads the full onboarding process.Conducts orientation during the start of the season (and on occasion during the off season)Assign training to employees utilizing our training platforms and monitors for completion.Employee InquiriesListens and responds to employee inquiries either by phone, email, or in personAssists incoming team members, managers or applicants and provides accurate information.Data and Records ManagementAids in maintaining employee personnel files, filing paperwork, distributing information, creating new hire/termination paperwork, auditing materials (such as notices, forms, training documents, etc.).Acts as the main HR point of contact in absence of the HRD.Compliance SupportTrack documentation to ensure adherence to federal, state and local employment laws (for example, CA Food Handlers, Harassment Trainer, Boater Safety Cards).Benefits and Payroll AdministrationAssist employees with benefit enrollment when needed.Assist with benefit open enrollment.Assist payroll with any inquiries as they pertain to new hires, benefits, reporting.Clear Creek Tahoe offers incredible benefits: medical, dental, vision, LTD, company paid STD and Life, PTO, end-of-season bonus, complimentary meals and wonderful perks.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEProficient in English (conversational Spanish a plus)Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to effectively deal with a variety of audiences, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.Strong computer literacy including knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite of products including Teams.Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion while performing various responsibilities.Abilit to prioritize workload; managing various projects and demands on a concurrent basis.Ability to work independently.Strong organizational skills.Good problem solving and research skills.High School GraduateFour-year college degree is preferred.Minimum of two-years human resources experience (three years without a degree preferred)
