Daikin Applied, the world’s largest HVAC company, is seeking a Human Resources Representative in Staunton, VA to provide administrative and basic HR support across onboarding, benefits administration, recordkeeping, reporting, and labor relations activities.

In this in-office role, you will coordinate new hire orientations, assist with benefits enrollment, maintain HR files, prepare reports, and support union labor agreements, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of HR/administrative, customer service, or related business experience.
• Experience with benefits programs or labor relations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and basic HR support across onboarding, benefits administration, recordkeeping, reporting, and employee and labor relations activities.
• Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations and update orientation materials as needed.
• Support in the administration of benefit programs (life, health, dental, disability, 401(k), vacation, EAP).
• Maintain HR files and records including employee files, training records, and exit checklists.
• Prepare reports as requested and assist with union labor agreement administration (job bidding, transfers, wage changes, etc.).
• Assist with attendance, corrective action logs, and other HR-related tasks as assigned.

The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
