You will partner with hiring managers and Human Resources to identify qualified candidates, coordinate the selection process, and ensure a professional candidate experience. The Recruiter serves as a resource for hiring managers to align recruiting activities with qualifications, policies, and employment laws.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with two years of recruiting experience.
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience preferred in healthcare or regulated industries.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions from posting to offer and pre-employment processing.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements, staffing needs, and priorities.
  • Review applications and resumes to identify candidates meeting minimum qualifications.
  • Conduct prescreens and interviews as appropriate.
  • Source qualified candidates via job boards, networks, referrals, social media, and events.
  • Develop candidate pipelines for current and anticipated needs.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain timely, professional communication with candidates.
  • Provide guidance on recruiting procedures and required documentation.
  • Maintain interview notes and recruiting documentation per policies and laws.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Recruiter is responsible for supporting talent acquisition efforts by managing full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions. This position partners with hiring managers and Human Resources to identify qualified candidates, coordinate the selection process, maintain appropriate recruiting documentation, and provide a professional and positive candidate experience.

The Recruiter serves as a resource to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process to support effective candidate selection and ensure recruiting activities align with established qualifications, company policies, and applicable employment laws and requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions from job posting through offer acceptance and pre-employment processing.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, qualifications, staffing needs, and recruiting priorities.
  • Review applications and resumes to identify candidates who meet the minimum qualifications outlined in approved job descriptions.
  • Conduct candidate prescreens and interviews as appropriate.
  • Source qualified candidates through job boards, professional networks, referrals, social media, career fairs, and other recruiting resources.
  • Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for current and anticipated staffing needs.
  • Coordinate candidate interviews with hiring managers and assist with the overall interview and selection process; maintain timely and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support consideration of qualified internal candidates in accordance with company practices.
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers regarding recruiting procedures, candidate selection, interview practices, and required documentation.
  • Maintain interview notes and other recruiting documentation in accordance with company policies, applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and record-retention requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate information within the applicant tracking system and HRIS.
  • Monitor open requisitions and follow up with hiring managers to facilitate timely hiring decisions.
  • Partner with Compensation Analyst regarding compensation recommendations and required approvals before offers are communicated.
  • Prepare and extend approved employment offers and facilitate appropriate offer discussions and negotiations within established parameters; ensure employment remains contingent upon successful completion of applicable pre-employment requirements.
  • Coordinate required pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug screenings and primary source certification verifications.
  • Assist with onboarding and new-hire activities to provide a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
  • Participate in career fairs, recruiting events, professional networking, and community outreach opportunities.
  • Promote CommunityCare as an employer of choice and support employer-branding initiatives.
  • Track recruiting activity and assist with reporting on open positions, candidate pipelines, time-to-fill, and other talent acquisition metrics.
  • Maintain confidentiality of applicant, employee, compensation, and organizational information.
  • Maintain current knowledge of recruiting trends, employment practices, and applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Effective interviewing, candidate assessment, and communication skills.
  • Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications against established job requirements and selection criteria.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ability to manage multiple open positions, deadlines, and competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Sound judgment and ability to work within established recruiting and compensation guidelines.
  • Strong follow-through with a commitment to timely and responsive communication.
  • Working knowledge of recruiting practices and applicable employment laws.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative Human Resources team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and/or HRIS preferred.
  • Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of two years of recruiting, talent acquisition, Human Resources, staffing, or related experience.
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience preferred.
  • Experience recruiting within healthcare, health insurance, or another regulated industry preferred.
