The Oryza Group, LLC seeks a Human Resources Plans and Operations Specialist to support USARCENT G1 personnel plans, readiness, policy execution, and staff actions on-site at Shaw AFB, SC. Expect a contingent, 12-month period with Monday–Friday work hours and a Secret clearance requirement.

Responsibilities include processing personnel actions, preparing staffing products, and maintaining audit-ready records while coordinating with multiple offices.

Qualifications

  • Five or more years of military or DoD HR experience.
  • Experience researching and applying personnel policies and producing senior-leader reports.
  • Experience with Army personnel/readiness systems; specify systems on resume.
  • Strong data-quality, records-management, writing, and customer-support skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, public administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Human Resources Plans and Operations Specialist - USARCENT G1

CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

Location

Shaw AFB, South Carolina - on-site

Employment

Full-time | 1 anticipated position | Anticipated 12-month period of performance, subject to contract award, funding, option exercise, and Government requirements.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 0800-1630, with a 30-minute unpaid meal period; alternate schedules require approval.

Clearance

Secret clearance is required for this position. The Government recommends that the required Secret clearance be active at the time of hire. Final clearance and access requirements are subject to the awarded contract and applicable Government requirements.

Position Summary

Support USARCENT G1 personnel plans, operations, policy execution, staff actions, and readiness visibility. Manage assigned actions as controlled cases from receipt through validation, coordination, completion, and documented closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, prioritize, and track personnel plans, readiness, policy, and staff-action requirements.
  • Validate source documentation and data before processing or coordinating personnel actions.
  • Prepare clear staffing products, reports, briefings, correspondence, trackers, and recommendations.
  • Coordinate actions with supported offices and resolve discrepancies while protecting personnel information.
  • Maintain suspense visibility, audit-ready records, and evidence of completed actions.
  • Identify risks to personnel readiness or deadlines and elevate them with recommended corrective action.

Contract Requirements

  • Must possess and maintain a Secret security clearance as required by the PWS. The Government recommends that the required Secret clearance be active at the time of hire.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card, installation access, and required Government system/network access; performance cannot begin while required access is pending.
  • Must possess English-language proficiency sufficient to perform the essential duties of the position, prepare required reports and deliverables, and communicate effectively with Government and contractor personnel. Must comply with applicable workplace and installation conduct requirements.
  • Must use Government-furnished equipment and authorized systems for performance; unauthorized personal devices or removable media are prohibited on Government networks.
  • Must complete required security, cyber/IA, OPSEC, antiterrorism, iWATCH, and local training. Possible CONUS or OCONUS travel may be designated after award.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Five or more years of military or DoD civilian human-resources, personnel-readiness, or G1 staff experience.
  • Experience researching and applying personnel policies, managing staff actions, and producing senior-leader reports or briefings.
  • Experience with Army personnel/readiness systems relevant to the assigned work; candidates should identify specific systems on the resume.
  • Strong data-quality, records-management, writing, and customer-support skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, public administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
