Contractor Special Security Representative - USARCENT G2

Employment
Full-time | 1 anticipated position | Anticipated 12-month period of performance, subject to contract award, funding, option exercise, and Government requirements.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 0800-1630, with a 30-minute unpaid meal period; alternate schedules require approval.
Clearance
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility/access required. Interim clearances are not accepted for this position. Final SCI processing and access requirements are subject to Government direction and the awarded contract.
Position Summary
Provide contractor special-security support for the USARCENT G2 intelligence mission and the full intelligence cycle. Working under Government security authority, the CSSR protects SCI access and operations by maintaining accurate personnel, visit, training, incident, access, and SCIF-support records and by coordinating closely with the Government SSO and Oryza's FSO/SMO.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate SCI eligibility and access prerequisites for incoming and assigned personnel and coordinate access, indoctrination, debriefing, transfer, and removal actions under approved Government procedures.
- Maintain current SCI rosters, access records, visit certifications, badge or entry-control documentation, training status, clearance-related suspenses, and supporting files.
- Process and track incoming and outgoing visit and access requests, confirm need-to-know and required approvals, and resolve missing or inconsistent documentation before access is granted.
- Support SCIF access-control, safeguarding, inspection, opening/closing, emergency, and compliance procedures as assigned by the Government SSO or security manager.
- Advise cleared personnel on SCI handling, marking, storage, transmission, discussion, reproduction, and destruction requirements within the limits of delegated contractor responsibilities.
- Receive, document, protect, and promptly route security incidents, possible compromises, adverse information, and other reportable matters to authorized Government and company security officials.
- Prepare and deliver required security briefings and recurring awareness training and maintain evidence of completion and corrective follow-up.
- Coordinate with the Government SSO/security manager, Oryza FSO/SMO, TLC security personnel, and authorized external security organizations to prevent access or documentation gaps from disrupting performance.
- Protect classified and privacy information and maintain inspection-ready, traceable security records without making Government eligibility, access, or adjudicative decisions.
Contract Requirements
- Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance and be eligible for or hold SCI access. Interim clearances are not accepted for this position. The Government will manage SCI processing and final access determinations.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card, installation access, and required Government system/network access; performance cannot begin while required access is pending.
- Must possess English-language proficiency sufficient to perform the essential duties of the position, prepare required reports and deliverables, and communicate effectively with Government and contractor personnel. Must comply with applicable workplace and installation conduct requirements.
- Must use Government-furnished equipment and authorized systems for performance; unauthorized personal devices or removable media are prohibited on Government networks.
- Must complete required security, cyber/IA, OPSEC, antiterrorism, iWATCH, and local training. Possible CONUS or OCONUS travel may be designated after award.
Candidate Qualifications
- Five or more years of special security, SCI security, SSO, CSSO, or closely related personnel-security experience.
- Working knowledge of SCI eligibility/access processes, SCIF procedures, visits, indoctrinations, debriefings, and incident reporting.
- Experience with authorized personnel-security and access-management systems relevant to SCI administration.
- Strong records-management, discretion, customer service, and regulatory-compliance skills.
- Formal special-security or SSO/CSSO training is preferred but is not stated as a Government requirement.

Conditions of Employment

- The normal schedule is Monday through Friday, 0800-1630, with a 30-minute unpaid meal period. Alternate schedules require approval.
