AIRBUS Defence and Space Limited in Portsmouth is offering an internship in HR for undergraduate students. You will join the HR team and spend time with each HR department, supporting HRBPs, handling disciplinaries, inductions, and right-to-work checks.
The placement requires current study toward a degree in Human Resources, Business or related subjects, and you will engage in reports, contracts, promotions and early career assessment, with security clearances as required.

The Human Resources (HR) team is responsible for ensuring compliance with policy and legislation, employee relations, reward, managing headcount, skills and competencies, early career intakes and development.
Within Portsmouth we support the business that develop, analyse and build satellites as well as the teams that ensure secure communications globally. We have HR support across the UK as well as globally and you will be part of this professional team.
You will be a key part of the HR team and have the unique opportunity to get involved in and spend time with each of the HR departments. Key duties will include:

This Job Request will be allocated to the projected Joint-Venture scope towards a leading European player in space.
You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
