Bluefield University seeks a Human Resources Specialist to serve as the primary personnel contact for staff and collaborate with the Academic Affairs office to support faculty needs.

Salary Range: $40,000.00 To $45,000.00 Annually
The Human Resources Specialist is the primary personnel contact for staff employees and works with the Academic Affairs office in serving the personnel needs of faculty. This position is responsible for administering and coordinating a broad range of human resources functions, including payroll administration, recruitment, and onboarding, employee relations, and policy compliance.
The essential duties, responsibilities, and functions of the Human Resources Specialist include, but are not limited to, the following:
May supervise interns and student employees including recruitment, training, work assignments, performance management and conflict resolution in accordance with University policies.
