Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Dallas, TX is seeking an HR Business Partner to join our in-office HR team. The role focuses on partnering with managers to drive employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning in a thriving, regional practice.

You will lead new hire orientations, manage leaves and benefits inquiries, and design training programs while collaborating across the firm. The ideal candidate has 6+ years HR experience, a relevant degree, and HR certification preference.

Qualifications

  • Requires 6+ years of HR experience including employee relations
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR or related field
  • Travel up to 20% of the time; some overnight travel
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor and employment law
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and HRIS
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the firm to meet goals
  • Maintain confidentiality and provide excellent internal and external client service
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification strongly preferred

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for a Human Resources (HR) Business Partner to join our Dallas, TX office on their HR team! This is an in office position.

  • Excellent organization and follow-through skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited daily supervision
  • Ability and desire to work collaboratively with team members within the region, as well as across the firm, to meet goals
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide excellent internal and external client service
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP strongly preferred
