Job summary

LeMans Corporation is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead the daily HR functions, focusing on systems, payroll oversight, compliance, and process improvements to deliver a seamless employee experience across the organization.

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will manage HRIS, payroll operations, and cross-functional collaboration with Talent Acquisition, Finance, and vendors to optimize efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance company-wide.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field; master's preferred.
  • 4–6 years progressive HR experience including operations and systems.
  • Experience with payroll administration and employment law compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms (Workday, ADP, UKG).
  • Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain HRIS systems with data accuracy.
  • Lead HR system upgrades, implementations, and integrations.
  • Analyze HR metrics and reporting to support decisions.
  • Oversee payroll operations and timekeeping SME.
  • QA review of payroll processing.
  • Develop and improve HR processes and workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding and records.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HRBP, Finance, and vendors.
  • Support benefits administration and audits.
  • Provide leadership and training on HR systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects.

Job description

We\'re looking for an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead and optimize the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources function. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role is responsible for HR systems, payroll oversight, compliance, process improvement, and operational excellence while ensuring a seamless employee experience across the organization.

What You\'ll Do
  • Manage and maintain HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Lead HR system upgrades, implementations, and integrations
  • Analyze HR metrics and reporting to support business decisions
  • Oversee day-to-day payroll operations and serve as the subject matter expert for payroll and timekeeping
  • Provide final quality assurance review of payroll processing
  • Develop, document, and improve HR processes and workflows
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee records
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Finance, and vendors to streamline operations
  • Support benefits administration, audits, and risk mitigation initiatives
  • Provide leadership, training, and guidance on HR systems and processes
  • Drive continuous improvement projects that enhance efficiency and service delivery
What You Bring
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master\'s preferred)
  • 4–6 years of progressive HR experience, including HR operations, systems, or process management
  • Experience with payroll administration and employment law compliance
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms such as Workday, ADP, UKG, or similar systems
  • Proven ability to improve processes, manage multiple priorities, and lead operational initiatives
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Prior people leadership experience preferred
  • Six Sigma certification is a plus
