You will report administratively to the Regional HR Manager – North America and professionally to the EVP – North America, and serve as a key member of the senior management team.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the regional HR team, providing coaching, direction, and performance feedback
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits, and 401(k) administration
  • Drive performance management, succession planning, and training initiatives
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. employment laws and regulatory standards (FLSA, FMLA, EEO/AAP, OSHA, ADA, Jones Act, etc.)
  • Champion the HRIS platform and act as the regional superuser
  • Support international coordination across Central America and the Caribbean

Work Experience / Education / Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7–10 years of progressive HR management experience, ideally with emphasis on offshore personnel and marine/vessel operations in the oil and gas industry
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Professional certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) preferred
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (citizen or permanent resident)
