Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an HR operations leader based at Bethune-Cookman University, supporting Edward Waters University. You will drive recruiting, onboarding, engagement, and retention for two campus dining programs while partnering with campus leaders to streamline hiring and employee experiences.

Lead HR operations across two dynamic campus dining programs as they transition to SodexoMagic. Drive recruiting, onboarding, engagement, and retention initiatives while supporting a growing workforce serving students, faculty, and campus communities.

Based at Bethune-Cookman University with support for Edward Waters University, you'll partner with operational leaders to streamline hiring, strengthen employee experiences, and build high-performing teams across both locations.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range:

$56270 - $72820

What you’ll bring

HR leadership experience in a complex, multi‑site environment with strengths in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, workforce planning, compliance, and talent development. Foodservice experience is preferred but not required.

A proven ability to hire in competitive labor markets, build employee engagement, manage HR processes, and influence leaders at all levels. Strong organization, communication, and relationship‑building skills are essential.

• A detail‑oriented mindset with a strong grasp of HR systems, processes, and data accuracy
• Skillset for juggling multiple priorities while staying organized, adaptable, and deadline‑driven
• A collaborative, service‑first approach to resolving employee inquiries and supporting team goals
