Job summary

Unified Talent Group in Wichita, KS seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations and support employees and leadership across the organization.

The ideal candidate will handle employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, training, compliance, and policy administration, ensuring OFCCP and Kansas employment practices are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of professional HR experience.
• Knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, training, and compliance.
• Understanding of Kansas employment and labor practices.
• Experience with OFCCP-compliant applicant tracking systems.
• Strong communication, organization, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer HR policies, procedures, programs, and department objectives.
• Lead HR department activities and evaluate results against organizational goals.
• Manage compensation programs, salary reviews, performance evaluations, and job description updates.
• Administer employee benefits and assist with claims, enrollment changes, and invoice approvals.
• Maintain employee records, reports, and documentation in compliance with employment regulations.
• Oversee recruiting for exempt, nonexempt, and temporary positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to create job postings, screen candidates, interview, check references, and extend offers.
• Coordinate new-hire orientation, development initiatives, counseling, and exit interviews.
• Ensure applicant tracking and hiring processes comply with OFCCP and equal employment opportunity requirements.
• Train managers and recruiters on interviewing, hiring, accommodation, and compliance obligations.
• Recommend improvements to HR policies, procedures, systems, and efficiency.
• Participate in leadership and staff meetings as required.

The ideal candidate has broad experience in employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, training, compliance, and policy administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and administer human resources policies, procedures, programs, and department objectives

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience using OFCCP-compliant applicant tracking systems
