Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist role.
  • Strong experience with employee relations, compliance, recruiting, and HR operations.
  • Experience partnering with managers and senior leadership to drive HR initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee HR initiatives across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Partner with leadership and managers on employee relations, performance management, change management and workplace matters.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on HR policies, practices, and employee issues.
  • Oversee recruiting and hiring initiatives, partnering with department leaders to attract talent.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Oversee HR operations, HRIS administration, employee records, reporting, and data integrity.
  • Monitor HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities around retention, engagement, absenteeism, and workforce planning.
  • Support performance management, employee development, and organizational initiatives.
  • Lead and support HR team members while driving process improvements and greater efficiency.
  • Serve as a trusted and confidential resource for employees and leadership.

Job description

CSP is exclusively partnering with a growing company in the construction industry on a search for an experienced HR Manager to take ownership of the HR function and serve as a key partner to leadership and employees. This is a broad HR leadership role for someone who enjoys being hands‑on, working closely with managers, and having an impact across the full employee lifecycle. This role is fully on‑site Monday‑Friday in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:
