Materion is seeking a trusted, ‘value-add’ Human Resources Manager to manage high-impact HR functions for 70+ employees, including staffing, performance management, talent development, and fostering an inclusive environment.

This role reports to the HR Director and collaborates closely with leadership in Brewster, NY, and Albuquerque, NM, as well as HR colleagues across the organization.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving as HR Business Partner to leadership in Brewster, NY, and Albuquerque, NM.
• Implementing HR initiatives supporting business objectives, including compensation, performance management, staffing, workforce development, employee relations, and succession planning.
• Building positive relationships and acting as a trusted advisor across all levels.
• Participating in HR continuous improvement initiatives at local and global levels.
• Staying informed on employment law changes impacting the business.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least five years of HR experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in a collaborative, matrixed environment with a proven track record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Works independently, takes initiative, and seeks improvements.

Additional Details:

Location: Onsite at Brewster, NY.

Salary Range: $99,000 - $158,200, based on experience and other factors.
