Ricoh Electronics, Inc. (REI) is a leading manufacturer of thermal media products and a recognized leader in environmental conservation. As part of the Ricoh global family, REI carries forward a rich history of environmental stewardship, community involvement, and steady company growth, supported by an enviable track record of superior products and business practices. In addition to its strong corporate legacy, REI offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to support the well‑being, growth, and long‑term success of its employees.

Join a team that helps keep our manufacturing operations running strong. We’re seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead Talent Management within our Shared Services HR team for both Ricoh Electronics and ETRIA Manufacturing, supporting multiple locations and states. In this role, you’ll support the workforce that powers our production lines by driving key HR policies, workforce planning, employee development, and engagement initiatives. Your leadership will help align our people strategy with both operational needs and long‑term business goals.

To be successful in this role you will need to be highly hands‑on to lead the team in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment that operates 24‑7. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on execution, prioritization and continuous improvement and who is comfortable operating with limited resources while maintaining high standards of compliance, responsiveness and business partnership.

The Human Resources Manager will:
  • Oversee a team of HR professionals supporting recruiting, contingent workforce management, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, workers’ compensation, employee engagement, CSR/SDG activities, and training.
  • Develop and manage goals and budgets to support company and group objectives, including cost‑down initiatives, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Recommend and refine HR policies, processes, and systems that strengthen talent acquisition, retention, performance, and development.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on HR policies and employee matters, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Reduce risk by serving as the escalation point for employee relations cases, reviewing investigations, and guiding disciplinary actions and terminations by using independent judgement to make sound and justifiable decisions to solve business problems.
  • Support internal and external audits and data requests (e.g., RBA, Human Rights, SOX).
  • Manage relationships with vendors and temporary staffing agencies to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Develop team capacity to operate effectively in a resource‑constrained environment with changing priorities and ambiguity.
Projects you may lead:
  • Redefining how work gets done – simplifying processes, driving accountability, and ensuring HR functions are delivered efficiently without unnecessary complexity while remaining compliant.
  • Conduct regular assessments of cost effectiveness, service levels, and quality and drive continuous improvement through negotiations, consolidation or replacements and implementations for HRIS, LMS and ATS to ensure the best value and service leading to possible implementations.
  • Execution‑focused – gets things done with urgency and discipline using excellent organizational skills
  • Pragmatic decision‑making – balances compliance, risk, and operational needs
  • Prioritization – Focuses on what matters most in a constrained environment
  • Coaching & influence – Builds capability in leaders without adding complexity
  • Resilience – thrives in ambiguous, changing environments and actively supports others to adapt, recover and succeed
  • Grit – demonstrates patience and persistence when new ideas require time to gain traction
