Job summary

Indian Creek Foundation is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead recruitment efforts and support the Senior Director of Human Resources. Job description

The Human Resources Manager brings 3–4 years of HR experience, including a strong recruitment background. In this role, you will support the Senior Director of Human Resources in maintaining all department needs. Primary responsibilities include overseeing Recruitment by managing all aspects of the recruiting process. The Human Resource manager will supervise the Recruitment Coordinator. The Human Resources manager is flexible and detail-oriented, works well within a team environment, and has excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Basic Qualifications

Education/Training

Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or related fields. SHRM-CP, PHR certification preferred.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience with a strong recruitment background required.

Equipment/Machine Operations

Must maintain skills necessary to safely and efficiently operate the following equipment and machines used in the performance of this job:

  • Computer (must be proficient in the use of office 365)
  • Various other equipment and supplies
  • Manage recruitment aspects of the Agency.
  • Design and execute effective hiring strategies that align with company goals and budgets.
  • Monitor metrics like time-to-fill and cost-per-hire to make data driven improvement.
  • Maintain working relationship with contracted agencies used for recruiting.
  • Collect and maintain all essential documentation for all agency contractors and Respite providers, and work with hiring managers and contractors in a professional manner.
  • Provide training in Interviewing Techniques
  • Monitor retention and turnover rates
  • Conduct wage analysis on open positions.
  • Assist the recruitment coordinator with internal and external job fairs.
  • Representing ICF at community functions
  • Maintain HR employee files in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate HR Special Events & Activities, which may include, but is not limited to making flyers, ordering supplies, writing newsletter entries, delegating tasks, setting up equipment, or participating in the actual activity.
  • Handle administrative details related to HR initiatives and programs. This may include, but is not limited to faxing, mailing, e-mailing, proposal writing, filing, scanning, making flyers, organizing events, or creating presentations.
  • Maintain all HR forms.
  • Assist with Employee Relation matters
  • Assist with FMLA paperwork.
  • Assist with employment verification
  • Act as back-up to Senior Director of Human Resources as needed.
Other Duties
  • Assist the Director of HR with various administrative tasks to support department operations as directed; may also be assigned special projects.
  • Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or redesigned depending upon individual circumstances.
  • Meet on-going training requirements to maintain current certifications.

  • Completion and clearance of a criminal background check and a child abuse clearance.

    • Confidentiality of all data, including individuals served, employee, and operations data.
    • Compliance with all regulatory requirements and agency policies as required by Human Resources, licensing, and funding agencies.
    • Demonstrate knowledge and compliance with HIPAA standards.
    • Conducts oneself in a professional manner when representing Indian Creek Foundation.
  • Functions as a member of the Team:
    • Cooperates and works together with all co-workers, plans and complete job duties with minimal direct supervision and appropriate judgment.
    • Uses tactful and appropriate communications in all situations.
    • Reports and follows up regarding reported complaints, problems, and concerns with appropriate personnel.
    • Promotes positive public relations with individuals served, family members, other team members, and community.
    • Completes requirements for training, acceptable attendance, dress codes including personal hygiene and other work duties as assigned.
  • Complete all documentation to ensure compliance with all regulations and agency policies.
  • Exhibits behavior as set forth by the Code of Conduct in performance of their duties.
  • Completes annual compliance HIPAA training and exhibits behavior as set forth by the Code of Compliance in performance of duties.
