THIS POSITION IS REMOTE BUT QUALIFIED APPLICANTS NEED TO RESIDE IN THE WESTERN PORTION OF THE UNITED STATES AND LIVE CLOSE TO A MAJOR AIRPORT.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the human resources function of stores within assigned brands, including staffing, training, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Administer company policies, programs, safety procedures, and training, including incident reporting and OSHA log maintenance.
- Drive recruiting and staffing practices aligned with company policy, market, and legal requirements.
- Partner with operations to oversee onboarding and training of new hires.
- Manage employee relations, addressing questions and resolving issues to maximize morale and reduce liability.
- Coach and counsel managers on HR management, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and performance improvement.
- Foster open communication and ensure high employee engagement.
- Oversee payroll processing for accuracy and timeliness, resolving discrepancies.
- Provide benefits and HR system support to management and stores.
- Maintain leave of absence processes in collaboration with HR leadership and legal.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues within CNRG and communicate regularly with regional HR partners and directors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of HR experience, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
- Experience with payroll and benefits at a regional level.
- Knowledge of employment legislation.
- Experience using HR technology for process management and metrics tracking.
- Preferred: multi-site retail HR experience, PHR or SHRM certification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated, inspiring, results-driven, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong decision-making skills.
