Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is hiring a Human Resources Manager responsible for leading HR functions across multiple districts in Overland Park, Kansas. The role involves developing HR initiatives, managing a team of HR professionals, and ensuring compliance with employment laws.
This full-time position requires 8-10 years of HR experience, including 5 years in a management role. Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in HR or business administration and SHRM-SCP certification. The position offers comprehensive benefits and requires frequent travel.
The Human Resources Manager is directly responsible for leading multi-district human resources functions that support Company and Division goals and expectations. This position will lead all human resources generalist activities at their respective districts to build and drive best in class marketing, hiring, development and retention initiatives.
This position has three or more direct reports that includes Human Resources Reps and Human Resources Administration.
This job operates 40% of the time in mining locations to include quarries, mines and remote offices. 60% of the time will be in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work.
Travel will be frequent and primarily within the Division and assigned Districts. Out-of-area and overnight travel will be expected.
