As an HR Manager, you will be a trusted partner to leaders and employees across assigned business areas, helping create a consistent, responsive, and engaging employee experience. This role combines hands‑on HR partnership with team leadership, supporting day‑to‑day operations, employee relations, leave management, workforce planning, talent processes, and continuous improvement. You will help leaders solve people‑related challenges, develop HR team members, use data to improve service delivery, and support both multi‑shift manufacturing operations and corporate business teams in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead assigned HR team members, provide guidance on priorities and coverage, and serve as an escalation point for HR support across shifts and functions.

- Coach, develop, and support direct reports while helping them prioritize work and coordinate coverage.
- Build an approachable, business‑minded HR team known for consistent service, sound judgment, and strong partnership.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Champion safety as a top priority and model behaviors that support a safe, respectful workplace.
- Partner with leaders, typically at the director level and above, to support workforce, talent, and business plans.
- Lead consistent execution of key people processes, including talent planning, performance, compensation, engagement, staffing, onboarding, and employee experience.
- Coach and develop HR team members; set priorities, align resources, and ensure effective HR coverage across shifts and functions.
- Guide complex employee‑relations matters, leave‑management cases, documentation, and risk recommendations with consistency, care, and compliance.
- Make day‑to‑day HR service delivery and team decisions within established policies, budgets, and delegated authority.
- Escalate enterprise, executive, precedent‑setting, or high‑risk matters to the appropriate HR, Legal, or business leaders.
- Use service levels, workforce metrics, and trends to identify opportunities, solve problems, and lead continuous‑improvement efforts.
- Coordinate with HR partners, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to support people processes, change initiatives, and business priorities.
- Promote consistent application of policies, controls, and employment practices while balancing employee needs and business outcomes.
- Provide hands‑on HR partnership and escalation support in a multi‑shift manufacturing environment, while also supporting corporate business teams.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools and open to leveraging Microsoft Copilot capabilities to improve productivity and insights.
- Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to connect with employees, leaders, and cross‑functional partners.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to use data, judgment, and business context to recommend practical solutions.

Education and Experience:
- Typically 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including broad HR business partner capability.
- Experience leading HR programs, processes, projects, service delivery, or people teams.
- UKG experience preferred.
- Manufacturing or other 24/7 operations experience preferred. This role is ideal for an HR leader who enjoys supporting multi‑shift operational teams while also partnering with corporate business functions.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to flex schedule as needed to support a 24/7 operation.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Ability to work 8 consecutive hours, including prolonged desk and computer work.
- Ability to safely move through manufacturing areas around machinery.
