Job summary

Career Professionals, Inc. is seeking an HR Manager for a major corporation in the Greater Knoxville area’s Trucking/Transportation division. The HR Manager will coordinate Driver Background Checks, Pre-Employment Medical Screenings, and DOT Physicals, ensuring compliance.

You will be heavily involved in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new drivers. The role also entails maintaining employee benefit programs and developing new programs focused on retention, development, and training.

Qualifications

• BS degree and PHR/SPHR certification required.
• Experience with FMCSA compliance and Driver Qualification files.
• Experience in trucking/transportation or related logistics field.
• Strong interviewing and on-boarding skills.

Major corporation in the greater Knoxville TN area has immediate opening for an HR Manager in their Trucking / Transportation division.

The HR Manager will ensure Driver Background Checks, Pre-Employment Medical Screenings, and DOT Physicals are coordinated and in compliance. Will be heavily involved in interviewing, hiring, and on-boarding new drivers.

The HR Manager will also maintain employee benefit programs in addition to developing new programs focusing on retention, employee development, and training.
